STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Swedish airport staff were not amused when a team from a TV comedy show tried to check in a suitcase with a dwarf inside.
Employees at Bromma airport called police when the dwarf hopped out of the suitcase at the check-in counter.
Police soon found that it was a stunt being filmed by a hidden camera for a program on private TV network Kanal 5.
Police spokesman Mats Eriksson says airport staff decided against filing charges even though they were ’shocked and humiliated’ by Wednesday’s stunt.
Kanal 5 spokesman Dan Panas told Swedish news agency TT that the show was meant to be ‘provocative and entertaining.’
He said the stunt was not meant to make fun of little people, but to make entertainment out of ‘extreme situations.’”

Zune man annoyed with MS, to get rid of tattoos: “Mszunefan will no longer be welcoming us to the social.
The Zune fanatic who inked himself with the music player’s logo and motto is sick of them and plans to obscure them with fresh artwork. This from a post he wrote to Zunescene’s forums, titled ‘I am done with the Zune…covering up my tattoos:’
I am done. I have had the Zune since day 1 and have noticed little improvement. I have tried my best to support them every step of the way but the recent Xbox Live announcement at E3 made me lose it. To not include Zune Marketplace or the ability to load videos from Xbox Live to your Zune made me finally give up. I am in the works of figuring the best way to get a new tattoo to cover the logo on my arm. Thanks for all the harsh comments and you will see very little of me anymore.
Dealing with the Zune ’spastic swastika’ logo should be easy enough, but how do you obscure text?

BOINKOLOGY | Licensed To Bone: The Safe Sex License: “STFree is working to make one part of that equation easier with their Safe Sex License. Here’s how it works: you sign up for the license, and get your clinic or private doctor to send your results to STFree. Then, when you meet someone you’re looking to bone, they can call up the hotline and verify that, yes, you recently tested negative.”

Fresh Intelligence : Radar Online : Behold the ‘Gastrosexuals’: “Are you a man? Do you ever cook for yourself? Do you ever cook for other people? Do you cook for other people who are women you are trying to get into bed? (You’re probably preparing lots of oysters, then, you sly dog!) Do you actually enjoy cooking? If you answered yes to these questions, you might just be a ‘Gastrosexual.’”

Fake Steve Starts Real Dan Lyons Blog [FSJ]: ”
The Fake Steve Jobs blog may be gone (for now) but Dan Lyons has started a blog with a somewhat similar style, expanded topic matter, interesting angles on tech and a Newsweek-themed header. The header still says Namaste, but he hasn’t lost that Siooma attitude either. [RealDanLyons]

Fake Coffee with the News: “
Product placement has reached the TV news. On the desk in front of the anchors of Las Vegas’s Fox 5 TV news sit two cups of McDonald’s iced coffee. McDonald’s is paying for the coffee to be there. But the best part: it’s not real coffee. It’s just a plastic simulation of iced coffee. From the Las Vegas Sun:
The anchors aren’t even supposed to acknowledge them, McDonald’s reps explain. That’s part of their genius, my little lambs! They get into your mind without you knowing it. So they just sit there, two logo-emblazoned plastic cups, percolating into the psyche. Made-to-scale models that weigh something like seven pounds each — refreshing, and bottom-line boosting!
The Las Vegas news isn’t alone in doing this. Lots of news shows are joining in. I think I’ve seen similar cups on the San Diego news. I’d like to see one of the anchors forced to drink the cup down. (Thanks, Bob!)
